Heating & air conditioning in Lowell, MA since 2005
Serving Lowell & Middlesex County since 2005
Belvidere AC & Heating has been installing, repairing and maintaining heating and cooling systems for homeowners and small businesses in Lowell since 2005. Founded by Bobby Williamson, the company works on all types of residential and light commercial properties, and on most major brands and equipment types.
A furnace that will not start on a January morning, a central air unit blowing warm air in the middle of a July heat wave, or a routine tune-up before the seasons change: when you call, you talk to someone who actually knows HVAC systems, not a call-center script.

Our work falls into five service lines. Pick the one closest to your problem, or see them side by side on the services overview.
Central air that blows warm, freezes up, leaks water or will not start, and new central or ductless systems sized for humid Lowell summers.
Furnaces that will not start, boilers that lose pressure, no-heat calls and full system replacements for older and newer homes.
Air-source and cold-climate heat pumps that heat through the winter and cool in summer, ducted or ductless.
Room-by-room heating and cooling for additions, converted attics, sunrooms and older houses with no ductwork.
Filtration, winter dryness, summer stickiness, dusty rooms and carbon monoxide safety, handled through the heating and cooling system.
Describe what the system is doing. You will talk to someone who knows heating and cooling, not a call-center script, and we will point you to the right fix.
Bobby has lived in the Lowell area his whole life and got into heating and cooling work right out of high school, starting as an apprentice and learning the trade hands-on. He runs the company on straightforward values: show up on time, explain things clearly, and do the job right the first time.
A condenser coil buried in debris, a belt-drive blower and two boiler closets: a few photos of the equipment behind the calls we get, from cooling to heating.
Lowell winters regularly bring nights in the single digits and nor'easters that pile snow against outdoor units and vent pipes. Summers swing the other way, with humid stretches in the upper 80s and 90s when a system that is low on refrigerant, or a condenser coil clogged with cottonwood fluff, stops keeping up. The houses vary just as much: triple-deckers and Victorian-era homes with steam or hot-water radiators in the city, and plenty of capes, ranches and colonials with ductwork in the surrounding towns. Each comes with its own heating and cooling habits.
We offer appointments throughout the week and try to fit urgent heating and cooling problems in as quickly as possible, especially in the coldest and hottest weeks of the year, when every system in town is working its hardest. Call during business hours and describe what the system is doing. We will tell you honestly when we can be there.
We are based in Lowell and work in every Lowell neighborhood, plus the surrounding Middlesex County towns: Chelmsford, Dracut, Tewksbury, Billerica, Tyngsborough, Westford, Wilmington and others within a reasonable drive. The service area page has the full list and a ZIP code checker.
Most likely. We work on most major brands and equipment types: gas and oil furnaces, hot-water and steam boilers, central air conditioners, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits. If you can read the model number off the unit's label, have it handy when you call.
Yes. We ask the right questions on the phone, look at the system, and give you an honest estimate before the work begins. If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we say so, and we will not push repairs or replacements you do not need.
Cleaning, testing and adjusting the system before the season it is about to work hardest in: the air conditioner in spring, the furnace or boiler in late summer or early fall. The maintenance page has both checklists and a month-by-month calendar for Lowell.
Smell gas? Leave the house first, then call your gas company or 911 from outside. Carbon monoxide alarm sounding? Get everyone outside and call 911.
Tell us what is going on and how to reach you. We will call you back, ask a few questions and set up a time.
